Hey folks.. I hate to harp on yall for money, but hey.. That's what I'm here for..

It's about to be that time of year again where we all pony up our dues for the next year.. Once again Dues are $25 for the year. If you paid in the last quarter of the year, about Oct 1 - now you're good.. There are a couple of exceptions.. A few folks paid in the last days of September and we're gonna go on and count that for next year as well..

Anyroads.. There are two ways to pay.. Give cash or check to an officer (please put payment in an envelope with your Name, Address, Phone #, Email and forum ID on the outside), if paying cash please have correct change if you could..

Go to the bottom of the page and hit the "Buy Now" button.

Paypal is a really easy way to pay, gives us some great records, but it does cost us $1.03 for each membership. Over the past 3 years we've been using it we've lost about $175 to paypal fees. So if yall are willing to pay the old fashioned way, I'm certainly willing to do the extra work to save the money for club projects..

When Paying by Paypal please send me a PM that you've paid so we can make sure everything is matched up right and it's a little reminder for me to check the MSJTreasurer email account..

Just a thought. Is there anyway that the paypal method can include the $1.03 processing charge. I don't really know how that works, but I would be willing to pay the "convenience" fee. Otherwise, it will be the January meeting before I can get ya my dues.

I'd have to look into it a bit from the paypal side of things, but we're not in such a hurry we can't waiting until January for it..

Membership dues are paid on a yearly basis, those paying after Oct 1st and good through the next year. Folks paying prior to that get to renew memberships with the rest of us.

Quit whining and just send your money in.

Is there not a way to do it by calendar year from when you join? That way you get your full years worth?

It was decided in the beginning it would be to difficult to administrate on an individual basis and to do things according to a Jan-Dec calender year. Nothing new it's been happening this way since the start..

a) Payable from Jan 1st to Dec 31st of the current calendar year, Dues are $25 per year per family unit. A family unit is descibed as immediate family members living under the same roof.

you're still welcome to pay then too if it's what floats your boat

but as Rob said, the club having yearly (not annual) dues is the easiest way to administrate it. especially with the chance that there could be a new Treasurer every year. everyone renews in Jan. is easy to remember

I know asking for money is not a popular subject, but we're gonna have a pretty thin "Paid Members List" come January 1 right now...

We've got something like 20 folks paid for 2010 so far..

I guess since I joined in early Sept I am going to have to pay for this year?

I forgot to give Charlie my money today...
