Is scheduled for the weekend of Oct 16-18. It will be held at Superlift. Standard fees to wheel Superlift will apply. The usual haunts will be available for camping or hotel accommodations. Dinner will be provided Saturday night (Need cooks. PM me to volunteer.). Bring your own beverages for Saturday night dinner (Coke, Beer, Water, Etc). A raffle (Details not ironed out yet) will be held. Event clothing options are being explored by CharlieD02tj.

You all be sure to call and reserve your camp sites. Matt got us 8 that are reserved for MSJ. So be sure to identify yourself when you make your reservation.

http://www.travelierinn.com/ offers all MSJ members a discount and is the hotel of preference for many members.

Fall Run Raffle:

Members will receive one ticket with their registration for the run. Additional tickets will be available for $1 each. Our grand prize this year is a gift certificate good for one Hypertech Max Energy programmer which will be loaded with any tune that they offer (winners choice). This is about a $400 value. I use the TJ tune and i love it. I've heard the JK tune is one of their best kept secrets and that it is also AWSOME!

Pre-Register for Fall Run!!!!

Pre-Registration WITH SHIRTS on the SL website will end at Midnight on 10-4-09.

BJ will compile a list of shirt orders and have it to us on the 5th. That way we can place our tshirt order first thing on the 6th.

Pre-Registration WITHOUT SHIRTS on the SL website will continue until one day the week before the run (exact day to be determined and announced). That way you can still get a discount/pay for your wheeling fees and meal.

Bottom line is that all shirt orders must be complete either through the SL website or by working out a deal with Token no later than 10-5-09 so that we can order the shirts on 10-6-09 in order to have them by the run. There is no flexibility there. We HAVE to order on the 6th in order for the shirts to be done and make it to fall run.

After that the price goes up and you are not guaranteed a meal or a shirt. So please register ASAP and help us get everything planned and paid for!

http://www.orvpark.com/events/register.asp?event=17

Park Office: 501-625-3600

Tell the park what you would like to purchase. They will collect all money and then give MSJ a check for whatever portion is ‘ours’.

Here are the prices:

___ $50 for event and ORV park annual membership.
___ $25 for event only. (If you are already an ORV park member.)
___ $12 per event T-shirt. (Add $3 for XXL+)
___ $0 per MSJ member adult meal (Member & Immediate Family)
___ $0 per children’s meal.
___ $5 per non-member meal.

Be sure to tell the park how many shirts of each size you want. Be sure to tell the park how many of each type meals you are registering for. Once you have registered please also PM this info to myself (cwilson). But DO NOT pm the info to me until AFTER you have paid the park and Pre-Registered.

If you do not pre-Resister here are the ‘At the door’ prices/Rules:

• $5 charge per meal (any type)
• $60 for event and ORV park annual membership.
• $35 for event only. (If you are already an ORV park member.)
• There will be an EXTREMELY limited number of spare shirts so if you want a shirt you MUST pre-register.

To Order Extra Shirts:

If you've signed up for the run at ORVPARK.COM and got your shirt stuff straight there all is good.. If you need to order extra shirts or can't make the run and want a shirt.. Then this is for you...

Shirts cost $12 for S-XL and $15 for 2XL and up.. If you're gonna need the shirt mailed to you via USPS it's $5..

I need the following info sent to Token@midsouthjeeps.com

NAME
ADDRESS
PHONE#
FORUM ID
EMAIL a Paypal payment request can be made to
SHIRT QTYS & SIZES
NEED IT SHIPPED USPS?

When I get this info I will send a Paypal Payment Request to your requested email address. Once you send payment I'll give the approved order to Charles and Charlie and they'll get all the orders together and placed.

http://www.orvpark.com/events/register.asp?event=17
This will run until pre-registration for the run is over at http://www.orvpark.com/events/register.asp?event=17

As soon as I know the cut off date I'll post here. I'm thinking it'll be at least a week and a half before the run so we have time to get the shirts in.

i will but i suck at graphic design :) i'm telling you that now... That part would be better done by someone else. If i make the flyer it will be very simple :)

Well they said plan to feed 100. So i suppose we plan to buy 100 shirts and then trim that number back based on feedback prior to the event. I'm going to get with Kevin to see who we used for shirts last time. I'll also get with the other officers to work out all the other associated details for shirts (Budget, presales, etc). Since i'm not sure what the officers have in mind or what is customary shirt wise. Someone will have to come up with the graphic design. I suppose the company making the shirts could do that if we wanted. Or someone in the club that is talented in that area could come up with a rough design to get us started. That sort of art is not something i'm capable of doing though. This gets back to the i'm learning this job as i go and was thrown in head first with no preparation thing :) Like i said it's fun though. And i appreciate everyone's help and understanding at this time :)

Shoot me a PM when you find that out and i will throw that in the mix. Give me as many details as you can. Who makes the shirt, material blend, what graphics we can have put on the shirt for the price, etc. That way i'll know what is included in the price i get and what latitude there will be in the design of the finished product. Thanks for the help!

I will. But first i need to find out what kind of shirts the shirt company can make for a given price. Full color photos for instance may cost too much so we may or may not be able to include those in the design... i need an assistant... lol :)

I just PM'd Charlie back on the shirts.. Will copy you..

I'm going to get with Kevin to see who we used for shirts last time.
Not a good idea.. We still owe them money until I can remember to call them during business hours.. :whistling:

We've never had a t-shirt budget. Other than WFTW they've been made and sold by a club member.

I'd really enjoy working on some designs for the shirts if you'd like me to.

We could have folks toss out ideas and then come up with a few different ideas and cast a vote for favorite design.
In fact, ROF did exactly that for the MOAB shirts. They had a time limited contest. Folks submitted their artwork on the forum and the winner was chosen by vote of the members. Winner got a free t-shirt.

I didn't get to go to MOAB, but I got a free shirt ;)

Didn't we do pre-sales on the shirts last time?

Charlie is going at this with the energy of a 6 year old on skittles :)

I bet you we have 3 different fall run hat, shirt, and pull over designs to vote on in 2 days. All with prices and a method to preorder after the vote is complete :)
